I have been doing a lot of vlogging lately. I mostly talk about art and literature but have also done a food review. I like to show of my paintings and talk about there content and creation. 

It is fun to talk about some of the paintings that did not turn out the way I expected. I also find this way of talking about work to be more organic then a written artist statement.

The art community on youtube is little more than Sunday painters showing of techniques and speed painting atrociously kitsch abominations but I have hope that in time I will find my audience.  

  

An update on The New Rococo.

Started a new painting today.

Self Portrait

Just finished up a self portrait. It is the first in a new series I have started that deals a lot with Rococo imagery.

Muses

    Muses had a successful opening. The show opened on the 6th at the Fort Worth Community ArtCenter.Me and Saralene Tapley could not have been happier with the way things went.  

Preparation

 Saralene Decided to take some pictures of me with all the work we stretched yesterday. In less than one month these works will be heading to the Fort Worth Community Art Center.
